From the short story to movie, Sleepy Hollow's plots and characters change noticeably. In the short story by Washington Irving, Ichabod Crane is school teacher who is presented in a quiet and delicate manner. In the movie, Crane is a fearless detective quite the opposite role he plays in the short story. Also, in the short story Crane is killed in the end by the Headless Horseman, though in the movie, he solves the mystery and defeats the Headless Horseman.

Although I really enjoyed reading the story Hannah told about the ripped corner of her book and the memories it presented, I personally believe that we should go digital. I agree with Dustin that way too much paper is wasted though books that are read then never used again. I think that it would be better saving the money from buying $80-$200 books and we wouldn't have to carry ridiculously heavy backpacks.

Ben, i thoroughly enjoyed reading your story. You talk about how a person will think that what they are doing is correct which i agree with. The natives thought that their way of life was "correct," while we thought our way living was more "correct." It is really just how one will look at it. Even in the first sentence, "savages we call them, because their manners differ from ours." Exactly, that was only one party's opinion. Their manners were so different from ours, we believe that they were wrong. The natives were not savages, they just lived in different ways.
